The GETI GWH01 4000W MPPT inverter enables the direct use of photovoltaic panel systems to power resistance heating devices such as electric boilers, heaters, heating mats, water heating, etc. The inverter is also equipped with an AC input, which allows connecting the inverter to the mains voltage and heating water even in a time when sunlight is insufficient for heating.
Note: The GETI GWH inverter is only suitable for resistive loads with a bimetallic thermostat (not suitable for electronically controlled thermostats!)
The inverter output (L, N) must not be connected to the mains or earth!
The system is simple, it only requires the connection of the appropriate number of photovoltaic panels with a maximum output of 4000W with an operating voltage of 160 ~ 350V DC, a mains voltage of 230C AC and a connection with a resistive load, e.g. electric heater, electric boiler, heating coils, underfloor heating, etc.
The GETI GWH01 inverter is equipped with an LED diode panel that informs the user about the current status of the inverter. :
- indication of water heating from PV panels
- indication of water heating from the 230V AC network
- traffic indication
- error status indication
The direct current generated in the panels, which cannot be fed directly to the heating devices, is converted into alternating current in the inverter, which can be used to power the heating devices.
The maximum power of the system is 4000 W. The inverter has a priority input from the photovoltaic panels, and when this voltage drops below 120V, the water heating will be powered from the mains voltage of 230V AC.
